What if I'm playing a different sport in the fall? Do I still have to attend the tryouts?

Even if you are playing a different sport in the Fall or Winter or do not plan to take softball as a fall class but still hope to play softball in the spring, you MUST attend the program tryout. If you are unsure you want to play in the spring, you should still try out 8/30 since you can always change your mind at a later time. There will be no spring tryouts.

Will the Aug 30 tryout determine whether I make JV or Varsity? 

No. Another tryout to determine JV and Varsity teams will take place at a later date.

I'm currently in general PE. How do I change my schedule to replace it with softball?

If you are a freshman or sophomore who wishes to take softball to fulfill a PE requirement, it's first required to attend the program tryout. Once the program roster is identified, you will be switched to the fall softball class for the 6th period.
