Capo alum, Gerardo Hernandez, has become a College National Champion!
Gerardo won the 174 lbs division at the NAIA National tournament. Gerardo graduated in 2018, and has been at Vanguard University in Costa Mesa since.
Gerardo is now the second Capo alum to win a college national championship as he joins 1994 graduate, Terry Tuzzilino, who won a national title at SF State.
